Photos are hopefully going to be added more often after a year long hiatus. One of my goals for 2010 is to add the back log of photos I have accumulated. Especially because my domain host keeps adding more disk space. As a result, I am doing basic tweaks to my photos and mass uploading them.



I first became interested in photography when I had the opportunity in the fourth grade to take a photography class through my school's Gifted & Talented program. A teacher with an interest in photography taught us the basics of camera usage, film developing, and printing. Two years later, I received an Ashai Pentax K1000 as a gift from my parents when I made my confirmation. Nearly 26 years later, I am still sometimes using the same camera- well, anytime I shoot film that is.



The items displayed here are predominantly digital photos. In a previous career, I had access to some nice digital cameras. For a while, I was using a 5 mega pixel point and shoot (Kodak Dx4350). Then I was using a Canon Digital Rebel XT, which I mysteriously lost. I have finally replaced it with a Canon Digital Rebel EOS. I also just bought my young nieces (aged 2 and 3) their first "kiddie" digital cameras because of their interest in pictures and cameras. I hope to start a small project where I mail them pictures about once per week in order to continue to encourage this interest. If they stay interested, I can upgrade them to something better.
